Fernando Ramos Gourcy, our District 4140 Governor, visits our club and tours some Projects.
Excerpt from the Governor's Facebook Post: "It was a great joy to visit the Rotary Club of Chapala Sunrise, a strong and diverse club with 51 active members, an outstanding spirit of service, and a truly international heart. I congratulated its members for their generosity to The Rotary Foundation and PolioPlus, their excellent website and social media, and their commitment to making a difference in their community.
During my visit, I shared a very important message: Chapala Sunrise is an essential part of District 4140. We need their experience, international vision, generosity, leadership, and friendship. I invited the club to participate more actively in District learning events, build stronger partnerships with other clubs, support our youth and service programs, and join us at the District Conference from April 29 to May 1, 2027.
Rotary is built through people. When friendship becomes trust, trust becomes teamwork, and teamwork becomes service, we create something that can truly change lives. Together, as one District and one Rotary family, we can build friendships, develop leaders, transform communities, and create a lasting impact.
Thank you, Chapala Sunrise, for your warm welcome, your service, and your commitment. District 4140 is your home, and we are proud to have you as part of our Rotary family!"
