It was a real privilege to visit Chapala Sunrise Rotary Club, one of the most solid and respected clubs in District 4140.
My sincerest appreciation to Past President Nicci Beninger for her extraordinary leadership, dedication and service during the 2025-2026 Rotary Year. Thank you for building such a strong foundation that will allow the club to continue to grow and serve with excellence.
Also, I congratulate President Erika Esmeralda Alamos Lopez as she begins this new rotary year. I am confident that, along with all of the club partners, will continue to strengthen the extraordinary legacy of service, fellowship and leadership that sets Chapala Sunrise apart.
It was also an honor to have the presence of the Municipal President of Chapala, Jal., Mr. Alejandro Aguirre, and his distinguished wife, Mrs. Érika Torres, President of the DIF Municipal System. I deeply appreciate your willingness to work hand in hand with Chapala Sunrise Rotary Club and District 4140, adding efforts and resources to multiply the positive impact of projects that transform people's lives and strengthen communities. The collaboration between Rotary and municipal governments is a demonstration that when we unite wills, we can achieve extraordinary results.
The club's commitment to The Rotary Foundation, SHARE and PolioPlus is truly exemplary. Their generosity, service projects, and dedication to the community demonstrate how Rotary transforms lives and creates sustainable change.
With one of the largest memberships in the District, Chapala Sunrise boasts the experience, talent, diversity and leadership needed to continue inspiring others. I invite you to continue strengthening our organization by growing membership, developing new leaders, promoting new generation programs and participation in District Committees. Also, I encourage you to share your accomplishments through the District 4140 social media and website so that your stories of service inspire more people.
