The informal CSRC Robotics Education Group met after the Club's regular weekly meeting at the Montecarlo Hotel in Chapala on Apr. 21.

The goal of the group is to develop and encourage local schools to offer a robotics and software coding program to students. This is one pf the key new skill sets for the 21st Century, and new low-cost all-in-one computers – often much smaller than a deck of playing cards and costing under $5 US – make it far more practical to offer to students in schools with limited financial means. The group is seeking donations of old keyboards, monitors, disk drives and other computer peripherals to help with the program. If you have old components like this please contact Lamont Fournier at 331-088-6499.
